Hello, I’m Martina O’Riordan, Owner at MartinaO Weddings & Events. I am a Wedding Planner based in Ireland.
I have a Degree in Business and a Diploma in Wedding & Event Planning – and over 20 years’ Events and Marketing experience based in Ireland and Australia. My business experience includes year’s of planning & executing large to small events at corporations like Google and Bupa. I then made the strategic decision to become a Wedding Planner as well as an Event Planner. Why? I am passionate about each story that goes with every wedding I have worked on, and, I thoroughly enjoy the challenge of creating something so different to help bring a couples story to life. But not only this, I am an executer, a serious planner and am experienced at organising huge events with multiple elements. My experience had me creating large production schedules that contained every single intricate detail of the event with detailed budgets, and this is the kind of planning that is needed when it comes to planning your Wedding in Ireland.
My business experience, coupled with my hospitality experience, has given me a crucial understanding of the Planning, Service and Hospitality side to Weddings. I’ve met and helped amazing couples on their journey to getting married, and made great friends along the way. I count myself very lucky to be able to promote Ireland as a Destination Wedding location and to show couples abroad the romance and magic that our country can really offer.

At MartinaO, we work with couples that are looking to do something a little bit different or don’t have the time that wedding planning consumes, and we work with couples abroad to assist with everything from finding the right venue, booking the right photographer to being there on the day itself. Our focus throughout the planning process is on finding new, unique and creative ways to celebrate each couple’s relationship and we pride ourselves on bringing something different to the table.
We meet with couples for a detailed consultation before the work commences. This enables us to really understand you both as a couple. We have helped many couples previously by finding them the perfect venue, creating the perfect menu, staying on top of budgets, and finding the right suppliers. One of the common challenges that many couples will have, for example, is finding the right photographer. Not every photographer is the same and they each have their own style. We can help you decide what style you would like and will recommend suppliers that suit your preferred style.
MartinaO offers a range of services and bespoke packages tailored to every couple’s needs. We offer ‘Consultation only’, ‘On the Day Coordination’, ‘Style & Design’, ‘Month of Wedding Planning’ and ‘Full Wedding Planning’ packages. It doesn’t matter how big or small your wedding is, or if it is a simple romantic elopement for just the two of you.
