Hello, I’m Martina O’Riordan, Owner at MartinaO Weddings. I am a Wedding Planner based in Ireland.
I have a Degree in Business, a Diploma in Wedding & Event Planning and over 20 years’ Events and Marketing experience based in Ireland and Australia. My business experience includes year’s of planning & executing large to small events at corporations like Google and Bupa. I then made the strategic decision to become a Wedding Planner as well as an Event Planner. Why? I am passionate about each story that goes with every wedding I have worked on, and, I thoroughly enjoy the challenge of creating something so different to help bring a couples story to life. But not only this, I am an executer, a serious planner and am experienced at organising huge events with multiple elements. My experience had me creating large production schedules that contained every single intricate detail of the event with detailed budgets, and this is the kind of planning that is needed when it comes to planning your Wedding in Ireland.
My business experience, coupled with my hospitality experience, has given me a crucial understanding of the Planning, Service and Hospitality side to Weddings. I’ve met and helped amazing couples on their journey to getting married, and made great friends along the way. I count myself very lucky to be able to promote Ireland as a Destination Wedding location and to show couples abroad the romance and magic that our country can really offer. Over the last 2 years, I lead the set up of the Irish Wedding Professionals Association. This association exists to elevate standards, educate, connect and support the wider wedding industry within Ireland.
