Martina is an absolute joy to work with! From our very first Zoom call, we had the best experience with her. She is incredibly talented, dedicated, and, most importantly, a true pleasure to work alongside throughout the entire process. We hosted our wedding in Dublin and chose to create a multi-day celebration since we were traveling from the United States and most of our guests were as well. Martina flawlessly coordinated multiple rounds of golf, high tea, a pub night, our rehearsal dinner, and of course, our wedding ceremony and reception at Luttrellstown Castle. My husband and I had some very big, over-the-top ideas, and for every single one, Martina would smile, take notes, gently laugh and say, “They don’t usually do that in Ireland, but I’ll look into it.” And she always made it happen. We were not the easiest clients with all of our wild ideas, and she never once said no without first exhausting every possible option.
Martina also has an incredible network of connections and works with the most talented vendors in the area. I may be biased, but I truly believe we had the best vendor team imaginable because of her. Every single one of our events was spectacular. And our wedding at Luttrellstown Castle still makes me teary-eyed just thinking about it. Our vision was brought to life so beautifully by Martina and her team -from the candles, draping, bows, knights, drummers, and dancers to the gift bags and on-site entertainment. Every detail was magical. Our guests have not stopped raving about how incredible the entire experience was. We did have one minor hiccup with our hotel room blocks, which was a stressful situation, but Martina handled it expertly and helped us navigate everything with calm and professionalism.
We truly cannot recommend her enough to other couples. We still miss our 8 a.m. calls with her after a full year of planning!!! She is delightful to work with and you will not regret choosing her!!

When we started looking to plan our 3-days of wedding events in Ireland from here in the US, we were completely overwhelmed. We quickly realized that we would need someone with experience on the ground to guide us through the process. I don’t remember how we first found Martina, but as soon as we met her (via Zoom), she put us at ease that we could do this! We told her what we wanted from the event, and she presented us with several options that fit our needs. Over the next several weeks, she came to us with the budget and a timeline of what to expect over the next year.
As two grooms who didn’t really have a “vision” of what we wanted in a wedding in the beginning, we needed Martina to help us figure out what aesthetic and vibe we wanted from the events. It turned out that we had a lot more opinions about how we wanted things than we realized! After getting a sense of our style and aesthetic, Martina presented us with a style board, which is when we could really start envisioning what things would look like, and we were blown away with the level of taste and thoughtfulness that went into it all.
By the end of the year, we had made so many decisions about things we’d never thought about that we kind of burnt out, but Martina helped us gently (but also firmly) stay on track.
After a year of 8 am zoom meetings, we finally met Martina IRL on the day before the wedding. We were nervous, but we knew we were in good hands, and all the work was done. When the big day finally arrived, we could not have been happier with how everything turned out. The mood, the look, the timing… everything was perfect. The two of us didn’t have to concern ourselves with the logistics on the day at all; we actually were able to enjoy ourselves because we knew that everything was under control.
We never felt pressured to opt for anything out of budget. Martina was spot on with the budget estimate in the end, which was really impressive, so we knew well in advance how much we needed to have set aside by what dates, and she helped keep on top of our vendors to ensure everything went off without a hitch. So many people at the wedding told us it was one of the best events they’d ever been to, and Martina’s role in that cannot be overstated. Hiring her was the second best decision we made surrounding our marriage! I hope to find myself at another MartinaO wedding in the future.

Book Martina – Brides lucky enough to have her by their side are blessed! She immediately rolls up her sleeves and makes your day as important to her as it is to you. She’s a friend in your corner, making sure you get the best of everything and doing it with grace. Importantly she knows how to work budgets and has the relationships with top vendors and suppliers. This is key — there wasn’t a weak link in the chain. From makeup/hair to flowers and our celebrant, we were blown away by the people Martina has relationships with to orchestrate a top tier event. I was planning my wedding from California, so I had to put a lot of faith in Martina and she absolutely delivered. I asked Martina what drives her, and her answer was “I love Ireland and i love “love”!” ❤️ She’s found her calling here and I feel lucky to have been able to put such a special, once in-a-lifetime event in her hands!

We absolutely loved working with Martina!! She understood our vision and helped us execute it flawlessly. I had a pretty specific idea of what I wanted each part of the wedding to be like, but I didn’t think about the logistics at all on the day of. I woke up with basically no worries because I knew we were in such good hands.
She made sure all of our vendors were confirmed, and they all arrived on time and without issue. Plus, she had worked with many of them before, and they all had great things to say about her. One thing she did (that she said she always likes to do) was to give us a 30 min break alone with each other, after the ceremony and photos. We were taken to a room with some prosecco and some appetizers, and we got to have a rest and a quiet moment with each other. The day just rushes by, and it can be quite tiring, but having that break really helped to slow things down and let us enjoy ourselves even more. I would recommend Martina to anyone who is getting married – she’s fab <3

In 2019 we hired Martina to be our Wedding Planner. Previous to hiring Martina we had picked our venue (Newbay House, Wexford) but we didn’t have any other suppliers. Martina was brilliant in arranging all of the other suppliers and keeping track of our budget for us. She researched the market and always presented us with her best three options. Martina picked an amazing Photographer and Videographer for us so that we will never forgot our special day. She rearranged all of our suppliers when we had to cancel our wedding due to Covid restrictions. On the day of the wedding, Martina sorted out everything for us which took a lot of the stress out of the day and we were really able to enjoy it. Wedding planning is stressful but having Martina made a huge difference especially on the day!

We spent over 2 years planning our wedding with Martina who became part of the family as we battled timing and numbers with the pandemic, culminating in delivering the most perfect day of our lives last November at Fota. Everything was perfect and far better than we could have ever imagined or dreamt. Our Guests also enjoyed a fantastic experience and this was all down to the energy that Martina brought to the organisation, and the day itself, taking all the worry away from us and allowing us to really focus on what was important.
